We offer adventurous skiing in a safe environment. You can go cross-country on endless slopes marked by the national tourist association, climb mountain tops such as the popular Gråhø 1430 meters above sea level, or go downhill skiing in the Olympic arena Kvitfjell. And if you really seek the wildest nature can offer; go off piste skiing on one of the surrounding mountains, it's even safe.

Here you can visit sites as Maihaugen or Hunderfossen. If you are going for a day-trip you can explore the mountainous Jotunheimen with Galdhøpiggen, Glittertind or Besseggen.
Sulseter Fjellstugu is located 10 km from Vinstra. Follow a road called Peer Gynts Seterveg.

Sulseter Fjellstugu is a hotel located close to the national park called Rondane. It's the perfect starting point either you want to go skiing in the winter or go hiking in the summer.

Right outside Sulseter Fjellstugu you'll find a small ski-lift where children as well as adults can have fun. For a greater challenge, take a quick drive to the Peer Gynt Skiarena or Kvitfjell which both offer chair-lifts.
In the summer you can go fishing in one of many lakes, hunting for birds and small animals in the mountains or simply just enjoy the exotic nature.
We also offer mountain riding or course riding all summer.
Sulseter Fjellstugu is surrounded by small traditional mountain farms. Host for the 1994 Winter Olympics, Lillehammer, is just an hour drive away from Sulseter Fjellstugu.
